This book touches the issue of identity crisis, fight for masculinity, negligence and depression that one can go through in teenage life.
It's a story about your first teenage love that the author writes beautifully . The parental support is a big factor in a teenage's life and this story has shown skillfully how the two teenagers are affected by it. Park coming from a very supportive family and Eleanor a neglected teenager.

I have to admit I had kind of mixed feelings about this one. Eleanor has crazy curly hair like me, although mine isn't red. She doesn't care what other people think about how she looks, but it's more out of necessity than because she's a rebel. Not to say she doesn't have a little rebel going on as well. She's kind of a hard character to describe, very complex. She's quiet and prefers to keep to herself; however, in her new school, her classmates just won't let her go to class in peace. Park is

Eleanor & Park was a good read. i enjoyed the story. It brought back memories of my HS love. I had to deal with some of the same issues, Eleanor faced. Eventhough, I enjoyed the story, the ending seemed rushed and not complete. It left me unsatisfied.
A quick sweet read.
Fantastic read. Couldn't put it down. Realistic view of young love.
