In all fairness this book is a 3.75 I just found the cat mouse game that Happened between Alex and his puppet seemed to happen through out the book. This is not a real BDSM book. It is more of a relationship that has submission and dominance as a way to relate to each other during sex. The cycle of the relationship was ok they both wanted each other but she believed she could "save him".
