This is an excellent short romance story featuring a young girl called Susanna Lorican who is about to marry the man she loves, Camden Beckwourth. However, there are several obstacles that they face before they can marry, there is a terrible snowstorm that puts the wedding in jeopardy and causes the reverend to be incapacitated. But there is also a dangerous secret about Beckwourth so Susanna must marry him before it is revealed and she becomes the gossip of the town.
