I have to thank Callie for addressing how someone could be thrown into a Fae world and just magically understand their language from the start—that never sat right with me.

I enjoyed reading this book, was it a masterpiece and worth all the hype? personally, not for me. however it was exactly what I needed from a book right now.

Rounded up from 3.75 stars. It was ok, but very predictable. I wish I was able to get to know the side characters and villains better. Not much mystery or surprises. Seemed very basic and routine romantasy.

You know, this one definitely grew on me. I had picked it up to read and it just wasn’t vibing at the time. A few months later, I picked it up again and got really invested in the story. Not a 5 star read for me but still a good time. 😉
