God tier book. Quicksilver as a book will put you in a chokehold and call you a good girl. Listen to the audiobook. Just trust me. You’re welcome.
This book is the best take on vacation read. I saved it till my trip to Disney world and it was perfect.
The World building and pace were all so original. It has those really good fantasy vibes. I didn’t want to stop reading to go into the disney parks. I wanted to sit at the resort and read by the pool.
I will say I got a little tired of how much the author overused the whole ‘scent’ fae thing. Maybe just not make that the center of the book. Otherwise I was glued to this. The banter was so good ...more

Does this book have a predictable troupe? Of course. But I loved nearly every minute of it. I really enjoyed the pace of this book as well; some books in this genre just dddrrraaaggg it out and this story had a good blend of tension without too much drag. And I found the story and world itself really interesting. Unfortunately it’s part of an incomplete series, which I seem to be in the middle of several, but I’m really looking forward to the sequel.

I will not stop thinking about this book for a while. It will be painful waiting for the next one. The storyline is so well done. The banter is the perfect amount. The spice level is just right. The world building …just all of it is written so well!
