Idk. Feeling pretty slumpy lately, my library just dropped this one in my inbox- hopefully it delivers. 🤞🏻
I don’t know why more people haven’t talked about this book.
It was a great one. I loved the building of the world and building of the way the gods interacted with humans.
I loved this story and the way it played out. Building each of the tasks and getting to see all the mortals interact and build the relationships throughout was fun.

I didn’t hate this book, but…I also found it so hard to connect to the characters and the plot. Blame Rebecca Yarros? I didn’t love the modern setting and couldn’t get excited about the Greek mythology aspect, but I can see why others like it. If you loved Percy Jackson, it might be worth your time.
I went back and forth on the rating for this book because for a lot of it, I found myself thinking that the writing felt a little more juvenile than I am used to these days. It didn’t feel incredibly original as so much of it reminded me of other books with similar concepts. I wanted it to be a bit more uncertain and surprising i guess.
