Really enjoyed this one and I can see why Reece chose it for her bookclub. It really got me thinking about being accepting of others and their choices.

Parenting is a long game. You do your best to make good humans, but you have non idea if the choices you make-both large and small- will succeed.
But we all have to try to work in the best interests of our kids.
This is my takeaway from this great novel. It took awhile to get going but once it did, I was hooked. I loved the characters, I loved the fairy tale within the story, and I loved Poppy.

I absolutely loved this book. The characters are so fantastic - they will stay with me for a long time.
