This was the July 29 Owlcrate book and wow did I love it!
I read this book for the Asian Readathon that took place during May and was hosted by Cindy over at ReadWithCindy on YouTube and Twitter.
I really quite enjoyed it. When I first started reading the book, it was giving me hard Mulan vibes. And if y'all didn't know, Mulan is my FAVORITE Disney movie. This book was so good! The writing flowed so smoothly and the character development was great! I can't wait to read the second book!
