After having finally completed this series, I am left in awe. I seriously don't know what my feelings are right now. All I know is that there is this weight in my chest that both makes me feel like everything will be okay and that perhaps it won't ever again.

I am so so glad I reread the Raven King before Call Down the Hawk. Mainly because I didn't really remember any of this book. I thought I remembered how it ended and omg I was so damn wrong.
This whole series is so hard to review, because I LOVE everything about it. This series is utter perfection. The characters I so desperately love, a whimsical magic system, the adventure of Glendower's hunt, the relationships between everything and the gods damned narrator who actually possessed my soul.

He was a king.
This was the year he was going to die.
Ahhh the final installment of this beautiful series! Everything has been leading to this point - from the first time Blue saw Gansey's spirit walking the corpse road all the way to the end of their search. I have been 100% in it and my love for this group knows no bounds. But that being said, this book wasn't all sunshine and rainbows as it concluded. There was loss, pain, heartache, but there was also happiness and friendship and family. ...more

I don't know how to review this book.
It is awesome. It's everything I hoped and dreamed it would be.
Maggie seriously rocks my socks off.
It's possibly the strongest book of the series, although I think Blue Lily, Lily Blue is my favorite.
It demands a reread of the entire series. What foreshadowing did I miss? What am i misremembering since I read each book so far apart?
This book had more tension and faster pacing than some of the other ones. I loved every minute.

"Depending on where you began this story, it was about...."
Be prepared to tuck in and learn a story. This one is full of twists and turns and brings back almost every character we have bumped into in the previous stories. It shores up their parts only in that you get to glimpse where they are, NOT that everything is wrapped up in the end.
