Sooo, I was not that excited to read this book. I mean, the two main characters are VERY snakesy. Both are poisonous, both have green eyes - no, not like yours, I’m talking bright green acidic tones - and Venom’s eyes even nictitate. What’s that you say? NIC. TI. TATE.

Shelves: series, fantasy-uf, pnr, hoopla, x-2017

4 1/2 UF plot, great, romance good.
I really wanted more from the romance, which got better at the end but... his denying her and constantly saying how she was too young just stole away "the giving in" at the end. The plot really is more two things than just one, who has put the bounty on Holly and what is growing inside of her. These are great and end really well as it makes them ending up together really good. Still I bumped it down because I wanted the romance of the Venom and Holly to be hott ...more
