Re-read in audio: Jan 2021 10 stars on villain comeuppance! I just love when authors go nuts and give evil people their just deserts.

I love when I re-read a book and I find that I agree 100% with my prior review. That's exactly what happened here. And I'm still really curious about Augustine and would like to see what he really looks like (my guess is that he's not as good looking and that he uses that face when he wants to feel normal.) I'd been waiting for this book since I read the first one when it first came out, so that's a handful of years by now. I made the mistake of re-reading the first one a couple of months ago, idiotically thinking that the release date for this one was soon enough that it wouldn't matter, but it really did!

June 1, 2017: I'm 25, and it terrifies me that I was 22 when I read the first book. Those 3 years flew by. This was a really solid read, and I'm excited for the next one.
