Another excellent addition to one of my favorite series!

This time Mercy is facing problems in multiple fronts, from new threats to the pack, to issues in her marriage with Adam, and Mercy deals with everything in her usual all-in manner.

As expected, they all have to deal with the aftermath of the events of the previous book that include Wulfe stalking Mercy, Underhill opening a gate in their backyard and Adam (view spoiler) ...more

This book was so scary!! I don't know how Ms. Briggs comes up with these plots. The villains were terrifying - yes, plural. There were 3 HUGE threats facing Mercy and the Pack. I had my heart in my mouth the whole time.

The scariest thing for me was what was going with Adam. Looking back, it made sense this became a plot point, after this is something that Adam has been dealing with most of his life.. It was still scary as hell.

It was interesting to meet some of the other members of Mercy's pack and to get to know them better, like Kelly or George. And I hope we'll get a story on what was going on with Warren and Kyle, what case they were working on. I'm also glad that we got to see Renny again. And more of Tad and Zee. And Aiden, Aiden is really cute! I wonder what's going on with Wulfe, though, he sure is a quirky one. ...more
