What Members Thought
I am sorry not sure if it was the genre but could not get into this book. The book seemed poorly written.
The way N.K. Jemisin had me fooled for like 2/3rd of the book deserves 5 stars alone. I am still a bit confused on some parts that will hopefully be discussed in the 2nd book, but overall a work of art. This is definitely a book I’ll have to reread in the future.
It took second for me to understand the world Jemisin created, but the writing is fantastic. I really enjoyed discovering this world and the characters. I am excited to read the next one!
I just gets better and better and better.
