What I fell in love with first and foremost about this series is the artwork - it is just ever so beautifully dark and steampunkish (in parts).
The story itself is interesting enough, with a very promising bigger story line unfolding in the background. You get the feeling that some thought has been dedicated to world-building, more than with some other comics/mangas I've encountered in the past.

This is a beautiful graphic novel! I love the characters. I do feel a little bit in the dark about the political aspect of this graphic novel. This first volume feels complex and a bit info dumpy. I will continue this series and hope that start to become more clear.
