I liked it because it is light and funny. They were eating so much pizza that I had to ordr one. I could not put it down,untill I read the last page.
On a personal note, there is a lesson here for us all about the untapped potential we have to do more than we think we can.Taking on a major goal is the starting point. Interesting first book in the series. Stephanie Plum becomes a female bounty hunter due to money problems. Spin on the detective or police officer tales.

I find this series overrated. I'm not a fan of Stephanie's "wing it and look that wasn't so bad" attitude. I don't like slapstick humor or funny movies, so this isn't really the series for me, but the numbered book titles are great for reading challenges. And though I'm also not a fan of friends with benefits and love triangles, this is an easy Interesting first book in the series. Stephanie Plum becomes a female bounty hunter due to money problems. * Copy I read had a Plumography at the end with plot summaries, historic moment, new characters and automotive factoids for the first 8 books and it was a great series reference

Dislikes:
* Twisted boxer, Benito Ramirez, is so evil and violent that he not only gives the sport of boxing a bad name, but makes wife beaters look tame

REREAD 6/25
Still a 3 star but I still enjoyed reading it

It was quick, quirky and overall enjoyable but I did find my mind wandering a bit. I will read a few more because I did think it was funny and a decent book but not a 5 star book.

2008, Stephanie Plum is such a funny character.. the book was a real page turner.. and such fun !!

She is still new at this bounty thing and has her work cut up for her..
