3.5 stars. This is a promising start to what I assume is a new series. This reminds me a bit of the Body Finder series and Variants series, except this group of special teens doesn't have supernatural powers. Each teen has a Natural talent for something: lie detection, profiling, statistics/numbers, reading emotions. The FBI has a training program to hone (and use) their skills. Cassie has a natural ability as a profiler. She is recruited to join a group of other teenagers with natural abilities to a secret branch of the FBI. This was a quick-paced book that I enjoyed reading. There's also a fun love triangle. This book was so compelling that I read it in a day. ...more
