I love any story with horses as the main characters. This is a fun coming-of-age/stand-for-your-rights/girls-can-do-what-boys-can-do kind of story. And last but not least, it's a great love story between man and woman, man and horse/water horse, and how that love is equal to deep loyalty. ...more

Shelves: own-it, ya-teen, beehives, ya-dystopian
The first couple of chapters we a little hard for me to keep straight (Puck is a girl?) but I did a combo of listening to it and reading it and found it kept my attention.

I would not recommend for anyone younger than 16, simply because of the mature themes.
