I enjoyed the start, got bogged down a bit in the middle, and really enjoyed the end. It really was like tracking down the clues to a "whodunnit," from the first find of the letter, and having to dig through all the correspondence, journals, and poetry. I can't begin to imagine the amount of work it takes to put together a biography, the meticulous research and reading manuscripts that may or may not have any relevance to your subject... it's daunting.
