First paragraph: The walk was long, and longer still for her young mind. Though Juliette took few of the steps with her own small feet, it felt as though she and her parents had traveled for weeks. All things took forever in impatient youth, and any kind of waiting was torture.

I both loved and disliked the different viewpoints in this story (as opposed to the first 3 each told from only one character,s POV each). I loved seeing more sides of the action, but each time the POV changed, I was left wondering what was happening with the character I had just left. Can't wait for the next piece of the story. Thank goodness fo ...more
