Basically what it says on the label - surreal horror.
A blend of the nightmarish, grotesque, disturbed and maddening in all their theatrical colours.

The parameters for this list aren't terribly strict and most sub-genres are welcome as long as they have notable portions of dark surrealism*. Body horror, Hell, malformed reality, some sort of abomination haunting you from your peripheral vision, those sorts of things.

This includes but isn't limited to bizarro, surrealist writings and poetry, psychological horror, weird fiction and Lovecraftian, sci-fi horror, and some sorts of dark fantasy, magic realism and paranormal. Nonfiction ABOUT surreal horror, such as art or film books, are also allowed.
