while twilight is an okay read.. not entirely sure how it manages to be so high up as a romance novel.. the book itself really is just too cool.. and not entirely real romance.. i guess.
My aim is to read the majority of this list...
What in the hell is this list? The most unromantic, abusive tripe up there. SMH...this world.
How the hell did Fifty Shades of Grey get on this list, let alone to number two? There isn't anything even in the same universe as romantic in that book.

I have to agree on the "why is this on here" sentiments for 50 Shades and Twilight. Those are both terrible examples, and I wouldn't even call them romance novels. At all.

People should not call anybody stupid for liking any book. However, I just don't see 50 Shades of Grey being the best romance novel of ALL TIME.

It probably got voted on so much because people got interested and read it cause of the hype. Sorta how Twilight blew up when it was announced that they were making it into film. I read the trilogy and thought it was good. Not best romance novel of all time but still fairly good. My favorites had to be Gabriels Inferno, love unscripted and Perfect Chemistry. I can read those over and over again :)

The top five most voted books for "Best Romance Novels of All Time" make me afraid for humanity. The only exception would be Pride & Prejudice and Perfect Chemistry, but Perfect Chemistry-while a good book-definitely shouldn't be on the top five best romance novels of all time.And 50 Shades of Grey as the best romance novel of all time...? Really, people, really?

I came to the list to look for recommendations, but the rankings of some of the titles force me to disregard this list completely.
Romance List? With Porn books? This is not a list of best romance books, I think. There should be a real romance books such as Pride & Prejudice, Jane Eyre, Gone With The Wind, North & South... I started to vote but when I saw the list is full of complete mess porn books I stopped.
50 shades of gray is a poorly written tasteless book about half-crazy sadist, dumb-as-shit sex-addicted ateliotic chick and their sexual perversions. How people can consider THIS as great ROMANCE book is beyond my ken.
