Picture Books About Sports & Recreation by African-Americans
Picture books about riding bikes, swimming, camping, etc., by African-Americans. Board books are allowed. English titles only. US Publications only. No self-published.
Books must meet this criteria to be on this list:
1.) The protagonist and their culture must be African-American.
2.) Any romance must be m/f.
3.) Black nuclear families only.
4.) Doesn't feature race, slavery, civil rights, incarceration, trauma, intersectionality, gender, or sexuality.
Books on The Civil Rights Movement, Jim Crow, The Great Migration, or biographies are NOT ALLOWED.
