Best Cycling Books

The best (or at least most popular) books featuring cycling or cyclists – biographies, histories, photo collections, travel guides or memoirs, novels, training manuals, etc.

So long as cycling is a significant feature of the book (not just some character in chapter three once rode a bike), then it should be okay.

Yeah, I got that one for my birthday - I should add it here even though I haven't read it yet.

James Anybody feeling the need to change how they voted for any of the Lance Armstrong books after the admissions of the last few days?

Simon Excellent list. Can highly recommend Fotheringham and Krabbe and Bobet are essential for anyone interested in cycling.

Thanks for the comment Simon. I've read a couple of the Fotheringhams already, but the Krabbé is definitely on my to-read list...

Stuart In Pursuit of Stardom: Les Nomades du Velo Anglais by Tony Hewson should be on there. The best book by far on cycling I've read.
