Time for Bed, Fred! is not eligible for the 2015 Caldecott Medal.

I removed Time for Bed, Fred! - UK author/illustrator with original publication there in 2013.

I think Odd One Out is originally British and may not be eligible.

The author/illustrator of this book was born in Germany, educated in England, and lives in Berlin, according to her web page (http://brittateckentrup.com/about.htm), so I am pretty sure it is not eligible.

However, I have to say that I really liked the book a lot, and would keep it in consideration if it were eligible.

I hate to say this, since I really LOVED this book, especially the illustrations, but I don't believe that Weeds Find a Way is eligible for the Caldecott Award. The illustrator, Carolyn Fisher is a resident of Calgary, Alberta according to the book flap and several web sources. Does anybody know for sure, because I would love it if this book were eligible.

Although I am eager to read it, #45, Hermelin by Mini Grey is not eligible, since Mini lives in Oxford, England.

Also, the book was first published in 2013.

I removed Hermelin: The Detective Mouse due to ineligibility.

Same for The Odd One Out and Weeds Find a Way.

I don't believe A Perfect Place for Ted is eligible, since the illustrator, Leila Rudge was born in England and resides in Australia (http://www.leilarudge.com/aboutleilar...).

I believe Before After is not eligible as well, since according to the Goodreads bio "Matthias Arégui studied illustration at the School of Decorative Arts in Strasbourg, France. He created the picture book ABC des Tracas with Anne-Margot Ramstein and is working on his first comic book. He lives in France." (Also check his web page at http://matthiasaregui.com/)

I believe The Scraps Book: Notes from a Colorful Life would not be eligible because much of the art in this book is from Ehlert's books. According to the official Terms and Definitions "..."original work" means that the illustrations are presented here for the first time and have not been previously published elsewhere in this or any other form. Illustrations reprinted or compiled from other sources are not eligible."
