There is a particular kind of book I love to read, and I am having a hard time defining the common thread, other than that the authors are clearly sensitive and observant people, and there is usually a depth of human nature in their books, be it in the solo endeavours of the narrator or the characters of the book. I'm afraid I haven't a better descriptor yet, but hopefully the collection will speak for itself.
