I've been wanting Fallen to be turned into a movie for like ever. And I just read Hunger Games. I don't think Shiver's going to be a good movie though... Everything's better as a book.

I'm really impressed with the casting for Hunger Games. When I read the book I was hoping they'd make a movie mainly because I wanted to see what would be done with the costumes and the Panem citizens. Hope they do a good job with it!

The Hunger Games
Breaking Dawn
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
The Help
The Perks of Being a Wallflower

Lol I completely agree!!! That's what I've been telling people when we start talking about movies and I always point out how a lot of movies that are being presented were first books.

Also FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM!

Same here!

Those are the one I know the films are already out; there might be more

not all of them are. In fact, most of them aren't :(

They have already been given movie adaptations.

So; um, not caring for sounding pompous and condescending, but this list really is over abused. The title and the description of the list is very straightforward:
Book To Movie Adaptations You're Most Excited About
The most exciting upcoming adaptations.
As in, it should be a list about actual upcoming FILM adaptation; not "adaptation" fans THINK/WANT to have existed. Will proceed to remove items that aren't qualified. And I'm also going to "be nice" and provide lists where YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN VOTING ON, rather than bombarding your wishes onto this list that clearly isn't the appropriate place for your votes.
Other Listopia lists:
Books that should become Movies
Books That NEED To Be Made Into Movies
Books That Should Be Made IntoMovies But Haven't
Books I'd Like to See on Netflix
This Book Series Should be a TV Show
YA Books Turned into Television Series
Books That Should Be Made Into Television Series/Tv Shows
You'd realize I provided links for TV shows as well, because a lot of the items on this list are in fact confirmed for shows instead of films, THEREFORE NOT FITTING TO BE ON THIS LIST.
Now, moving onto the documentation of removal. Consider yourselves called out; don't be that one fan that for some reason can't even follow the restriction, it really doesn't put the books you love so much in good light.

[I'm being lenient, and left all the #1s because apparently A film right was indeed sold, but there's no point having all those sequels here when not even that ONE film was made]
