I read it 10 years ago, so I'm up for a reread. We havent read a Faulkner in a while.

Cheryl Carroll @Diane and Dave -- Well, we still have five more days of voting... but, as GDM is the likely winner--
The first few stories are pretty easy to get through. The Bear is the longest story, and required (for me) the most patience. One suggestion for those going in blind is to read the shorter, 20 page version of the story. This one was published first, in The Saturday Evening Post. GR won't allow the link, but you can google "the bear faulkner pdf".
