Steampunk bunnies. Very interesting idea.

Paranormal /vampire/zombie/steampunk/cyberpunk/mystery-thriller bunnies sound great. New ground breaking genre! Can't wait to see zombie element.
Definitely a reflection of our times.

What the hell? I need to pay more attention to poll comments.

No. Delighted to find it! But is it going to make me paranoid about bunnies? I live in the country, could be stressful...

Good deed for the day--done.

*shudder* Please no.
Ground breaking new genres not so groundbreaking after all. But does anyone know of a zombie bunny book? Huh? That's a challenge.

Look up, I already posted one :P
This is the funniest thread on goodreads. I've been bitten by a pet rabbit. Tried to disembowel my arm. I flung it away, then was mortified as it was my daughter's pet. Luckily all fine, he/she (never really knew) survived the incident, as did I.

You guys are great!

Ack! A bunny on steroids! Sounds like a surreal experience...

It's science, that's what it is... :D

It was. In a surreal state of bunny shock all day. Also plagued by guilt. Instinct kicked in. I flung him hard

I've been sitting on the fence, posting comments willy-nilly and avoiding the vote, but these extra previously unexplored (at least by me) dimensions to WD have confirmed my vote. So WD for me, it is. I'll never read it in the same way again.

Yes, that's understandable; you must have had a big fright. I wonder why it acted that way though. Was it a mommy with babies? A territorial male, perhaps?
I was bitten by a white rat in a pet shop once, not sure why, but rats do bite. Once a squirrel in the park drew blood from my finger while I was feeding it peanuts. In that case, I think my finger simply looked like a peanut. :P Still, I went for rabies and tetanus shots just in case...Who knows, it could have been a rabid killer squirrel and I got off lightly. XD

I suspect Big Bunny (yes, that was what our daughter called it) mistook my hand for some kind of vegetable or food offering. Didn't show much remorse afterwards though. I suspect it was a slightly unhinged bunny (mother tame, dad a feral bunny) from the start. We did make peace, as the feeding duty always fell to me, and even a bunny knows that you don't bite the hand that feeds you...

Rabid killer squirrel. Now there's a thought.

The others were more rabbity: they'd only bite if they got scared or such.

They are far tougher than they look. And moody! One day it's all cute twitching of the nose and chewing of the daisies, the next day it goes for the jugular (exaggerating a bit, it was my hand and arm. He/she latched on and used it's back legs to gouge me, teeth in my hand). But we still loved her/him (suckers!).

I think if we read WD I'll be rooting for the other side. Fiver has suddenly become an entirely different character...
