Hello, Lisa Unger. As I am writing my first novel, I want to take a break to read a book of my choice. Do you take a break from your writing to read other author's work (novels)? Kouakam.
Lisa Unger
That's an interesting question. First of all, congrats on writing your novel! Reading is one of the best things you can do as an aspiring writer. A great book will educate and inspire. Most writers are readers first; that's where we first fall in love with story. For me, reading is a lifelong, constant pursuit. So I'm reading all the time. I don't find it necessary to take a break from my writing to read. But if it's a question of time, then by all means, take a break to recharge your batteries with a great book!

I went to my local bookstore to order copies of your latest Four Thrillers and The Dark Corners Collection... I am so upset that they are only available for Kindle ( which I do not own and never will) and only through Amazon ( not a favorite) My question is how could you do this... I have read many of your books and now may no longer be able to... I am so disappointed in you and the other authors who have allowed ?

I have never been to a book event or signing or whatever they are called, Yours will be my first. I am looking forward to seeing/meeting you in person in Gainesville on June 11th. I am kind of nervous and excited, as I haven't read a book since out of high school in 1984, but my sister in-law got me back into book reading in January of 2015 and "In The Blood' was the first book she gave me to read?

Hi Lisa! I have ordered all of your books in the Lydia strong series. I just finished angel fire and picked up the second book in this series, the darkness gathers. There is an inscription to a grandpa from what looks like your signature. I just wanted to reach out to see if in fact this is something you did sign to him and whether you wanted this copy for yourself? Please let me know!
