Hey there, just thinking that the book needed two more chapters: 1- to describe Esther's thought process 2-to learn about Grace's life after. On behalf of a good friend who doesn't have goodreads but wanted to make a comment/suggestion. Any thoughts? BTW she loved the book-brilliant!

Hi Stephanie, and I could have explained ath
I know what you mean about Esther but then she would have had to have her own chapters and I really wanted the book to be from Grace's perspective only. I also know that a lot of readers want to know what happened to Grace after and I could have added a chapter explaining that she sold the house and bought a new one for her and Millie to live in, next to Esther. But I really wanted the book to finish on that goosebump moment when we realise that Esther has just given Grace an alibi.

I have recently just read Behind closed door and absolutely loved it ! I was captivated from the beginning. Throughout the entire book I thought this would be a fantastic psychological thriller movie. Anything in the works in regards to a movie ? I'll be moving on to the therapist next. Great work

Behind Closed Doors was the first book (after being out of high school for 15 years) that made me realize how much I love to read! So THANK YOU for allowing my mind to escape during this pandemic and continue to. (And yes I of course read your other books after this. You're one of my favorite authors now! SO do I have a question? Nope! Just a thanks for helping me get back into reading!

Just a question about the characters in The Therapist. There is a mention of a character just once - Pierre. In the brief chapters called Past, where it's a meeting with the therapist, one comment is that the woman mentions that she loves Pierre very much. Who is Pierre? Is it one of the partners of Justine or Marion? Is Pierre just a red herring?
