Where did the inspiration for 'Ensnared' come from?

Sian B. Claven This is possibly my favourite story. My family was immigrating to the UK and on my brother-in-laws side we have a niece called Kiara Boom. When it was almost time for my family to leave Kiara asked if I could take her number and give her mind so she could stay in touch since I had watched her grow up with my nieces (her cousins). I typed her name in my phone but instead of Kiara Book I wrote Kiara Book. We laughed about it and said, "Hey, it's like you're trapped in a book..." well... I didn't stop thinking about it the whole way home and before I knew it I had a book bursting to get out.
