And for me, I'm guided by passion when it comes to what to write about next. I get very romantic and nostalgic for certain ideas, certain time periods or scenes that I want to delve into. And I try to listen when my interest takes me somewhere in particular.
I'm finding great joy in diving into worlds right now. 50s and 60s Hollywood gave me so much to research and write about. I'm seeking out that level of interest and passion in my next books, too.

You are by far one of my favorite authors, I love your story lines but mostly I love the way you tell a story and how the character's feelings come across as so authentic and real. Do you look back at past relationships as your insight for characters? Or if not, do you find inspiration from others?
