Michael J. Sullivan:
Just finished Age of Sword, great book again. Cant wait for the next one in the series, and I really can't wait for the next Riryia Novel, been way to long since journeying with Royce and Hadrian lol. Thanks for the good reads every time. I know there is another Riryia novel coming out as mentioned above, but is there any plans to do a whole other Riryia series, like after the Revelations series?

Hey Christian, thanks for all the enthusiasm for the various books. There are many things in the works. Let me try to lay them out for you.
- The Disappearance of Winter's Daughter (Riyria Chronicle #4) is with my two copy-editors now. The release date is scheduled for December 5th, and the audio recording will take place in mid-October. We would like to do a hardcover release for this book so we'll be running Kickstarter campaign. If the KS doesn't fund, the book will still be produced, the only difference is it won't have a hardcover and the trade paperback will be produced using print-on-demand technology.
- Age of War - I just started implementing the beta read feedback for it. There isn't too much to do, and that book should be going to the copy editor in early October. Release date is April 17. The other 3 books in the series will be coming out at an interval of about 6 months.
- My current writing project (as opposed to the above works which are really edit projects) is something I'm calling "the Bridge books" Right now it's planned to be a trilogy but both "Riyria Revelations" and "Legends of the First Empire) were planned as trilogies and they both ended up at 6 books, so we'll see. These books land "between" Legends and Riyria and provides some background on characters such as Esrahaddon, Jerish, and Nevrik
As to "post" Riyria stories" I've long resisted "going further" in the timeline as I was pleased with how that series wrapped. That said, people are really anxious to learn more in that direction, and I do have a few ideas I've toyed with. The real question is "how far" down the timeline do you go, and I'm just not sure what the answer to that question is at this point. It's a bit moot, as until I get the 4 written books through editing, and finish the next 3 books that are only outlined I don't have any time to devote to any other project. I'll be in a position where I'll be "ready" to write something new come 2020. Many candidates: (a) Another Riyria Chronicle (assuming people want more) (b) a sequel to Hollow World (c) a horror story I've ben collecting ideas for (d) a sci-fi trilogy I have outlined (d) a post-Riyria story. At this point I don't know which it'll be, but I'll put you down as someone who would like a sequel.

Michael J. Sullivan:
Hi Michael. This may be too spoilery to answer (if so, no worries at all!), but I was wondering how much time will have passed between the end of revelations and the start of the cycle? Thanks so much! And thanks again for your writing - I'm currently reading chronicles and I love them so much, it's so fun to see early days Royce and Hadrian and i love seeing more of Gwen!

Michael J. Sullivan:
Hi Michael. My question is, will there ever be a continuation of Raithe and Persephone's relationship? I know you stated that it was never your intention to make them the center plot point. I'm sure I speak for many of your fans when we say we were enamored and truly engrossed in their love. I know I came close to tears a few times. Would you ever consider a short story or novella?
