Hi Kristen. I've read & loved a handful of your books. Wondering if you've ever thought of writing about a beautiful heroine with a different ethnicity? Perhaps you have done so already and I just haven't read it yet
Kristen Ashley
I've considered it, darlin'. But it's important to me to "step into the shoes" of the heroine so she can be as believable to you as she is in my head! If I ever do that, I would do it working with some sisters who could make sure I get the voice right and don't do anything ridiculous (which I'm wont to do). I definitely have some African American heroines I wanna give to some of my boys (Darius and Samuel Sterling, to be precise). So hopefully one day!

Hey, Miss Kiki! I just finished Golden Dynasty & I can't help but wonder: why there's this slight familiarity with Games of Thrones scenes? Do you picture Lahn with Kahl Drogo? Or it's just coincidence? Oh, I already purchased Fantastical but I don't want to read it cause I don't want this series to end but I wanna read Cora's story so bad! I'm so miserable right now! Haha. Have a good day & LOVE from Indonesia!

In the few books I have read by you, (I'm a new fan~), the male characters really screw up, either in the beginning or at the end of the story, but they don't actually apologize verbally. They just get really sweet. Usually it is the women who apologize for getting mad for so long. Is there a reason behind this?

You are by far my go to author & the yard stick to which I compare all books. I have read all of them at least 3 times thank you! My question is in Rock Chick Redemption Roxie knows Eddie does not like her. Hank explains that Eddie does not like high maintenance Is that really what drove it or did we just needed something to lead up to the Eddie & Roxie "moment" when he takes Roxie to press charges against Billy?
