I'm an aspiring writer, but I'm dealing with two things: I get discouraged every single day because 96% of manuscripts are rejected, and I haven't had an idea for years, literally. There's too many people wanting to be writers, and knowing there's so much competition just kills me a little every day. When I get motivated, immediatly something appears about the industry that kills it. Any tips on how to deal with this?

First, they are not your competition. Looking at other authors like they're somehow competing against you is wrong. They are sharing their story just like you. That's it. The best to look at them is that they are your co-workers. We all provide entertainment, hopefully, to readers and keep them engaged and give them a smile.
The other thing, you can self-publish. That's what I do. I enjoy it. it's more work, but I get more control that way. At this point I'd probably be okay with giving away some of the responsibility, lol, but i do enjoy it.
The best thing is to set up a routine, pick a place and time to write and stick with it every day no matter what. Shut out any distractions and just write. It doesn't have to be good. Just write and when you're not writing, you should be reading.
I hope this helps, Cintia :)

Just re-read the NFH series to refresh my memory in preparation to Aiden's story being released and it brought up some questions. Like what does Sebastian think is his fault? Are the kids eventually getting stories? Who's story is "The Promise" b/c I saw that one was closer to being done than Aiden's? When is Aiden's story coming out? Who else is getting a story? Mac?
