What's your favorite genre of book to read? AND if you could sit down, right now, and instantly write any book, what genre would it be in?

I really do try to read everything. I read YA contemporary the most, but I'll cycle through sci-fi, fantasy, historical, thriller, YA or adult—I like it all! Anything that feels like a good adventure story will have me HOOKED, regardless of genre.
But if I could instantly write a book, and do it well, I'd probably write a thriller. I am comfortable writing contemporary, but whenever I try to write a thriller I worry too much about writing good twists, and giving readers the right information at the right time... and end up scrapping it. So I'd really like to sit down and instantly write (a bestselling?) thriller.
