What is your favorite piece of writing you have ever written? Why? The piece of writing doesn't doesn't have to be a published work.

I can't answer this, unless you mean an entire book. Three favorite books are DAVE AT NIGHT and WRITING MAGIC and my poetry collection for adults, TRANSIENT. But smaller bits are all relative to the larger work, and I don't know how to compare them.

I have loved your books ever since I was a little girl. I grew up with Ella Enchanted, but I love The Two Princesses of Bamarre and Ever the best. Question, how do you get the idea for The Two Princesses of Bamarre and Ever? I figured Ella Enchanted is a different version of Cinderella and Fairest is a different version of Snow White. I could never figure out The Two Princesses of Bamarre or Ever, though.

I love how you made it so that people knew each other even thought they were from different books. (Ella Enchanted and Fairest) When I saw it, it inspired me to write that into my book that I'm working on! Was it hard to incorporate that into the story? And also, I love your books! ;D
