Hi, I finished The Crown Tower and it was amazing. It was the first book of yours I read and I can't wait to read more. My question is what order should I read the Riyria books? Continue with the Chronicles, since it's chronologically the beginning, or go through publication order? Thanks!

Michael J. Sullivan Hey there, welcome to Riyria. I'm so glad you enjoyed your first book. You know, you really could go either way...either jump over to Revelations (and read Theft of Swords), or continue with Chronicles and read (The Rose and the Thorn). Personally, I'm a "publication order" kind of guy, so since you asked me my opinion, I'd say make the jump. That said, I know a lot of people who go in order of publication, and while the two experiences are different (because the order in which you learn things) both groups seem to think "their way" was the "best way." That warms my heart as it was a goal of mine when I decided to write the Chronicles and it is encouraging to see that I succeed in that regard. Either way, I hope you love them all!
