What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Lolly Walter Read. Read. Read. Daydream. Think of a character or two, stick them in a room together in your mind, and see what they do. Learn about story structure and practice finding it in the books you read. Read some more. Write every day, even when you're uninspired and think you're writing garbage. (Garbage is okay. It helps you grow as a writer!) Writing takes great imagination, a willingness to learn, and lots of discipline, but it is so rewarding!
