Not a question, just a statement - It is killing me that I have an ecopy of the book, a hard copy of the book, and I'm waiting for the audiobook version to become available! Can you sync that up next time? I stumbled on your work through "The Jester", and I've listened before reading each of the series since. Killing me!

Hey there, sorry for the late reply. I'm assuming this was related to the recent Age of Legend release? This (and all my books) DO have the release dates synced. For instance, ALL FORMATS of Age of Legend came out through the retail chain on the same date (July 9th).
A book's release date is set 6 - 12 months before the release so that pre-order pages can go live. It also dictates things like recording schedules, and print runs (which have to be booked a long time in advance).
All that said, I know people want the stories just as quickly as they can get them. If you got the ebook before the release date, then you bought it directly from my online store, or you participated in the Kickstarter. Getting the book when it is finished (as opposed to the release date) is one of the perks to being a Kickstarter backer, so while I can appreciate that it "feels" like you had to wait for the audiobook, the reality is you got the other formats before they were available to the world at large!
I'm glad to hear "The Jester" got you hooked on the listens. We'll do our best to keep them coming out just as quickly as we can!

I know you said you don't plan to write a sequel to the Riyria books, and I understand because the ending is PERFECT. There's just one thing I'm curious about. Royce says that he wants to make better connections between humans and elves, but what about the dwarves? I know Royce says many times that he doesn't like them, but it doesn't really seem like a happy ending if dwarves are still left landless and persecuted.

I see that you cite Stephen King as one of your influences. I was wondering if there are any of his books you would particularly recommend? I have heard great things of him but have been put off by his reputation for horror (I cannot even watch the film 'Signs' all the way through).
