Why are there cats on the cover of your magic potion cozies when THEY ARE NOT CAT COZIES and there are NO CATS in the book? That is like lying to the reading public.

Hi Barbara, my Potion books have two cats in them, Roly and Poly. While they aren’t the stars of the series (though they’d beg to differ), they are beloved characters.
As for covers in general, most authors have very little say on cover design. The publisher is in charge of choosing an artist and the design. I’ve been quite fortunate to have many wonderful covers, the Potion books being some of my favorites.
