Hi, I enjoyed your latest story. What are you currently working on and is it different from your earlier works?

E.J. Wood Thank you and thank you for asking! I currently have a finished story that is in edit and I'm also working on a thriller. I would like to think that my latest works have benefited from more experience as a writer with more confidence and knowledge. When you're writing your first book it is an extremely daunting task and although it was at times an enjoyable venture it was also excruciating. My first novel Beyond the Pale I wrote for me because it was a story I needed to tell. Yes I probably broke a few rules but I always believe, "There are three rules for writing. Unfortunately, no one can agree what they are." - Somerset Maugham.
