(view spoiler)[Upon finishing the book there were a few unanswered questions, the main one's for me where what happened to the uptown apartment of Caleb's, did Ruby get the deed, and what is Delilah's fate - is she still in a coma in that apartment's basement? Obviously in the epliogue Ruby is still using the Jekyll & Hyde potions. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[Braithwhite wouldn’t have signed the deed over to Ruby yet – that was supposed to be her reward once she was done working for him. On the other hand, because he wasn’t planning to leave town in such a hurry, he wouldn’t have had time to change the locks, much less clear out the basement, before Ruby could go back in and grab the doses of the potion that he had already prepared. There were “hundreds” of glass vials in the basement refrigerator, so it’s probably a couple years’ supply, assuming it doesn’t spoil. As for what became of Dell, or what becomes of Ruby once her stash of the potion is exhausted, I have some ideas about that, but no definite answers… yet. (hide spoiler)]

I’m very intrigued by your response to the TV series adaptation. I have said many times,”But the book was so much better!” With Lovecraft Country, I can’t wait for the next episode. Even though elements and details and order have changed somewhat, it is a beautiful adaptation of your work. Why do you think as readers we are often reluctant to embrace a film adaptation of a favorite book not 100% faithful to the book?
