I just finished A House Without Windows and absolutely loved it. Your characters were so thoughtfully developed and I felt compassion and love for all of them. My question is less about your books and more about your careers. What schedule do you keep that allows you to practice medicine, raise a family and write?

Hi Diana, my juggle has changed since I first started writing in 2009. I was working full time in an emergency room then. As the first and second books came out and our family grew, I began to cut back my hours. For the past couple of years, I've been primarily writing, raising 4 kids (with loads of support) and staying involved in the organizations that keep me grounded. It's a balancing act that sometimes works and other times...well, let's just say it mostly works.

Hi Nadia, my mother & I recently finished When the Moon is Low & thoroughly enjoyed it, but it BEGS a sequel! My mother finished it late at night & immediately went to Amazon to download the "sequel" only to discover there wasn't one! I'm sure you are asked often, but would you consider writing a sequel to tie up their stories? We look forward to reading your other novels. You have a lot of talent -- keep writing!
