You are my most favorite author ever... I have read all 3 of your Foxcraft book 100 times and am re-reading them all over again starting with book 1..... I keep getting interrupted by my family members whenever I start to re-read the Foxcraft book :( Also..... Why did you write what you did at the end of each book with the red fox?

What a lovely message, I am SO sorry that I only just saw it as I don't think I've logged onto Goodreads in a year! I hope you have had some uninterrupted reading time :) I'm not sure what you mean about writing what I did at the end of each book - but I can tell you why I wanted to write about foxes. I became fascinated with these beautiful animals when I saw them on the streets of London where I lived. I was intrigued by how these elegant animals appeared to spring out from nowhere – a flash of deep red pelt, a white tail tip – only to vanish into the night. I began to read about the fox’s role in folklore. Time and again, the fox was the bad guy (do you remember the story of the gingerbread man?). I felt that these beautiful animals were misunderstood and I wanted to tell their story.

I loved the two tygrine cat books and I am sure there are many others who also did. Like me I am sure they are greatly disappointed that Mati's story was never finished. He is such a wonderful character with a great story. Will you please finish his story for those of us who have waited for a third book? If a regular paper book is not an option for some reason how about an e-book like the warrior cat e-books? Thank yo
