I am an enormous fan of DC Barbara Havers, and having just re-read “The Punishment She Deserves”, I am eager to read Lynley book #21 upon its release in May 2021. The problem is, I cannot find it available for pre-order. In fact, it’s not being plugged on your own Web site or on your publisher’s. Are you able to recommend a site or two where I might pre-order this book? The Poisoned Pen, Barnes & Noble? Thank you!

Originally, the publisher had scheduled it for May 2021, but I wasn't able to meet the deadline. It's now rescheduled for January 2022. It's title is Something to Hide.

Having an extended series of novels with a recurring cast must be a challenge. Knowing what details and descriptions to reiterate, what to leave out; which character to bring forward or drop back - or even take out forever. It’s something I’m facing with a sequel to my first novel. How are you making that decision with each new Inspector Lynley mystery?
