Terry asked Blue Saffire:

Hey Blue, It's me with another writer's question. Can we talk about First-person vs. Third person in writing? I can read first-person, but it's very hard for me to WRITE in first-person. When I write it is in third-person. What I see in my head is like watching a movie and I write it down - I'm witnessing the act play out. What is your secret to writing in first person?

Blue Saffire Hey Terry,

I write in both 1st and 3rd. Legally Bound Series is 3rd person for the most part. All my other books are in 1st. I have some other books coming that will be a mix.

Personal, the story and characters usually tell me which they feel more comfortable with.

I think every author should write to the voice that's best for them. It's what sounds better for the story. If you like 3rd why try 1st? It may not be for you.

Your editors can be instrumental in helping you find your voice and choosing what's better for your story. Write what you are most comfortable in.
