I loved A Dowry of Blood! What writers served as inspiration/influence when developing this beautiful prose? I cannot get enough!

Thank you! Dowry was heavily influenced by Angela Carter's The Bloody Chamber, as well as Catherynne M. Valente's Deathless. It was also inspired by Elisabeth das Musical, which is my favorite musical, and the 2004 Van Helsing movie.
