Hi! I am so looking forward to picking up a copy of 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle but will have to wait some time before I can. I suppose my question is. What inspired you to begin writing mystery?

Stuart Turton My inspiration was the idea for 7 1/2 Deaths. I was doing another job at the time, and I had the idea for this novel. Once I had it, I knew I had to write it, so I quit my job and got started.
