First off, I love “The Lots Lands”. It is one of the most unique book series I have had the pleasure to read in quite some time. Now, the first time you published the book it looks as if there was different cover art. This one looks to have Jackal and his hog on the front. Why font’s they seem to make this edition anymore, and if that is so if you know of anywhere that may still sell a physical copy?

Thanks for the kind words! Glad to hear you enjoyed your ride through the Lots!
Ah, yes. The cover you're referring to is the original self-published edition with artwork by the incomparable Raymond Swanland. Sadly, when the series was acquired by Penguin/Random House they decided not to use that design, and I had to take that edition off sale when they bought the rights. It was only available from Fall 2015 to early 2017 and was a print on demand paperback, so the only copies in existence are those ordered by folks during that brief time. Occasionally, copies show up on eBay or Abebooks, but the prices are often quite high.

Just finished Grey Bastards on audible and loved it. Starting True Bastards and already chomping at the bit for Free Bastards later this month. Was wondering if there is any sort of Lot Lands wiki available - detailing characters, geography, common terminology, etc...? Since I'm experiencing The lot lands in audio form, sort of tricky to go back and ferret out specific references. Hungry for more lore. Thank you!

What alchemy in your mind caused you to decide that hogs would be actual.....hogs? I think that this is one of the most inspired ideas I have read in a long time. I'm curious if this idea was central to the story creation, or if it was a secondary analysis as you built the characters.
